According to newly disclosed data, US officials have carried out and are planning more attacks in Ukraine, an analyst writes in a column for the Press TV website.
In an article published on Friday, Gordon Duff wrote that a series of hacked emails received from a hacker group called “Anonymous Ukraine” reveals Americans “are working in concert with extremist elements in Ukraine.”
“We now have Americans hiring terrorists, planning attacks, working with the Ukrainian Army and Neo-Nazi groups to blow up planes, attack airports and clearly do so in order to blame Russia and inflame the world to the point of war,” Duff said.
One of the hacked emails was sent from Jason P. Gresh, Lieutenant Colonel, US Army “to COL Igor Protsyk, Chief, Bilateral Military Cooperation Division, Main Directorate for Military Cooperation and PKO, General Staff, Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
“Your job is to cause some problems to the transport hubs in the south-east in order to frame-up the neighbor,” Gresh wrote in the email.
It is clear that “these attacks are to be blamed on Russia including blowing up planes at an airport,” Duff noted.
He added, “It began with terrorist snipers hired by the ‘new’ Ukrainian government, killing their own supporters.  The US involvement was long proven through the infamous (US Assistant Secretary of State) Victoria Nuland phone conversation, America ‘anointing’ their chosen terrorists to stage a confrontation with Russia.”
Ukraine witnessed weeks of street protests after President Viktor Yanukovych refrained from signing the Association Agreement with the European Union in favor of closer ties with Russia in November 2013.
On February 23, the Ukrainian parliament ousted Yanukovych and named Oleksandr Turchynov, the legislature’s newly-elected speaker, as interim president.
