ISIS members have taken to Twitter to support -- as well as try to incite -- Ferguson protesters in an attempt to gain a footing on U.S. soil.
According to the Daily Mail, various hand-written signs that have been posted from ISIS members reading that so long as the Ferguson protesters pledge their allegiance to ISIS, the terrorist unit will send over militants to assist in causing as much mayhem and bloodshed as possible.
One such ISIS member, Junaid Hussain, 20, wrote, “We hear you and we will help you if you accept Islam and reject corrupt man-made laws like democracy and pledge your allegiance to Caliph Abu Bakr and then we will shed our blood for you and send our soldiers that don't sleep, whose drink is blood, and their play is carnage.”
Another member, using the handle “@Abu 3antar Britani" wrote, “From #IS to #Ferguson we heard your call and we are ready to respond! #FergusonDecision #BeLikeMalcolmX #FightBack.”
The use of “Malcolm X” is an interesting point of intersection that apparently links ISIS with the enraged protesters. Malcolm X was apart of the Nation of Islam, and so it makes sense for ISIS members to attempt to persuade protesters by bringing up the largely revered Civil Rights movements.
Naturally, Malcolm X would have never supported inhumane actions that have been carried out by the hands of ISIS. The militants are not as well versed in U.S. history as they might think.
Although the offer of sending warriors “whose drink is blood” sounds like a tempting proposition, the catch is always that the protesters must embrace the chilling fundamental doctrine handed down by ISIS members.
