One of the world’s most dangerous female terrorists has been shot and killed in Ukraine by a Russian sniper, reports Moscow news agency, Regnum.
Samantha Lewthwaite, 30, was once thought to be the innocent wife of 7/7 suicide bomber, Germaine Lindsay. In 2009, she left Britain and has since been linked to numerous terrorist acts in Africa since. Most recently, Lewthwaite allegedly trained British converts to fight for the Islamic State. It was also alleged that she was training a special team of female ISIS suicide bombers in Syria.
Regnum reports that the dangerous terrorist, also known as the “White Widow,” was shot and killed two weeks ago by a volunteer sniper.
“One of the world’s most wanted terrorists Samantha Lewthwaite who fought as part of a Ukrainian battalion has been killed by a volunteer sniper,” the news report said.
“According to our information, the White Widow fought on the side of the Ukrainian volunteer battalion Aidar as a sniper,” the report continued. “She was killed by a volunteer sniper who came to fight at the Lugansk front from Russia. The Russian sniper who killed the British terrorist now has a price of nearly one million dollars on his head from Ukrainian special services.”
Although Regnum has provided some details on the matter, the claim has not been formally verified yet. This is the latest news to come out from Moscow and Kiev following a series of propaganda over the Ukrainian crisis.
Lewthwaite has been linked to several grenade attacks, including an incident in June 2012 at a beer garden in Mombasa that killed three and injured 25. Reports claim she joined forces with ISIS earlier this year and quickly became the most powerful woman in the terrorists organization.
